Yukon Optics Scout 20x50 Spotting Scope. The Scout 20 x 50 is a modern
high magnification draw-tube spotting scope. Lightweight (15.9 oz.), compact
(9.1 to 14.6x2.8x2.8 in) and rubber armored, it is easily portable for use
while watching wildlife, as a travel/hiking scope, for marine observations
or for sporting events.
The scope’s most distinctive features are its collapsible body and large
50mm objective lens. The Scout’s body can be retracted inward, reducing
scope size, making it perfect for travel, and the considerable surface area
of the 50mm objective lens provides immense light gathering capability, producing
high resolution in a variety of lighting situations. This is further enhanced
by the fully multicoated optics that are covered in Yukon’s special
multi-layered magnesium fluoride coating. The Scout’s 12 mm eye relief
provides comfortable viewing and the 54 m field of view allows great observation.
Encased in durable, water resistant, rubber armor, the Scout can withstand
rigorous use and can be used as both a hand held optics and a tripod-mounted
optic. The Scout 20x50 has a built-in ¼” tripod mount. It is
the perfect scope for beginners or experienced optic users, and the Scout
makes a great gift. The Scout is also available with a 30x magnification.
The Scout 20x50 can be used for many recreational uses, including boating,
fishing, camping, hiking, hunting, tracking and observation.
All Yukon Advanced Optics’ products, including the Scout, are warranted
free of defects in materials and workmanship for four years after the date
of purchase, if the unit is registered within 30 days of purchase on Yukon
Advanced Optics’ Web site. In the event of a defect under this warranty,
we will, at our option, repair or replace the product, provided you return
the product. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse or improper
handling. Also, this warranty is null and void if installation or maintenance
is provided by someone other than a Yukon Advanced Optics authorized service
department.
