Designed to easily mount a night vision goggle or monocular to a MICH helmet without the need for straps. The 3 hole shroud attaches to the MICH helmet, and the conversion plate (sold separately) attaches the night vision helmet mount (sold separately) which holds the night vision piece in place for viewing.
